Bahamas!

What a fabulous vacation! Such a great way to end my time as an active duty Army soldier and a great way to get away for a while with Arfan! After driving down to Virginia, we boarded our Carnival ship and were prepared to have a fantastic time. Anxious, we were one of the first to be on board and we took the opportunity to tour the whole ship on our own. It was nice and big and so much to do. We looked forward to great meals and great shows at night.

We went to two Bahaman ports, Nassau and Freeport. In Nassau we went snorkeling with beautiful tropical fish in the most clear blue waters I've ever swam in. The water was so warm!

Freeport, Bahamas - Lucayan National Park

Grabbing lunch in Nassau

Snacking on board our ship

Formal dinner night on the ship. The food was fantastic

Freeport, Bahamas - Just before we started our canoe trip.

In Freeport, we took a canoe trip through mangrove trees and had lunch on a secluded, private beach at the Lucayan National Park. It was absolutely beautiful! Nothing compared to being in paradise with my man.
